For many years now
I have been intrigued by ancient themes that connect with the
present and how we work these into contemporary thought.
Loss and regeneration make up the journey of our lives. It is
the use of symbolic materials in my work that bring these ideas
to life.
Lead is both an ancient and contemporary metal with the power
to perform what it does best with its malleability and strength.
Poetry and words bring us the rhythms of man's thoughts and ultimate
passions, while the use of hair as an art form throughout time
is full of personal aesthetic expressiveness.
The mystery of life is forever; I need to celebrate it now.
